A collection of process work and sketch ideas on games and stories.
To start is the Great Miceketeers! The Miceketeers are a group of four early teen mice girls who live in a fairytale world. As the result of a happy accident (the fairygodmother in question turned 4 white horses into glue and 4 white mice into 4 white knights), the Miceketeers travel the 12 kingdoms, keeping peace, solving mysteries, and often saving the day!
Below is a collection of various sketches, some of super heroes in training, some of anthropomorphic Bazil & Ace (from Ace Adventures!) and a norse god thrown in for good measure. They're exercises in motion, expression, and superhero costuming.
Due to a certain game pitch I had chickens on the brain. So I drew specific breeds and expressions of different chickens. Sometimes mice showed up, despite not being invited, but I couldn't help it. I really enjoy drawing cartoon animals - theres something so interesting and fun about their odd shapes.
And last but not least! The collection of sketches from iamagamer game jam. The theme was "girl games" and the end result was a beat-em-up side scroller featuring Samantha Torne - a 16 year old girl, trained to be an unbeatable spy but who just wants to be an ordinary teen girl. As cliche as it sounds, it was really fun to work on. At the end of the slider is a ghost girl - who is NOT Sam Torne but was the initial, non beat-em-up game concept heroine.
